After years focused on his quintet, making the band become one the most important of the young Brussels jazz stage, Joachim Caffonnette met double bass player Alex Gilson, freshly arrived in Brussels. Together, they did several gigs in trio with local drummers, having fun on jazz standards. They decided to organise a mini tour in Belgium and East France.
